Vane Alvin Fraser was born 1 July 1903 in American Fork, Utah, Utah. He was the son of John Alvin and Clara May King Fraser.
He married La Ree Norma Barratt on 28 October 1931 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. They were the parents of Lynn Barratt Fraser, Norma, and Debra.
Vane died 25 February 1991 in Tooele, Tooele, Utah and was buried at Elysian Burial Gardens on 28 February 1991.
