It's a Job
I only knew of my dad working for Kennecott all the time I was growing up. It looks like he got a job in a car shop one month before I was born.
Lynn and Baseball
Lynn enjoyed all sports, but was especially good at baseball, usually playing short stop, and sometimes first base. Even after he was married, he still played baseball, on a semi-professional team in Salt Lake City. He was invited to try out for the Baltimore Orioles. They offered him a position on the team, but he turned it down, knowing it wouldn't be the kind of life for a man beginning a family.
